Above is the predicted path of what the National Hurricane Center reports as the first hurricane of the 2008 Atlantic hurricane season. Packing winds of 75 mph and moving toward the northwest near 17 mph, Bertha just reaches the minimum requirement for hurricane status. The Center said it is still too early to determine whether Bertha will eventually affect any land areas.
The storm formed Thursday in the far eastern Atlantic, off the coast of Africa, near the southern Cape Verde Islands and made hurricane status early Monday morning.

gee, I wonder how much gas will go up because there is a low level hurricane way out there. Govt. Investigation needs to get on the ball.

Yeah, yeah, yeah…. I know there are earthquakes here, but it doesn’t really matter where you live. Theirs a natural disaster that will kill you no matter where you are if your there at the right time!
I agree. Though you’ve got to admit, those poor guys out in Bermuda seem to always be there when disaster strikes.
